Hello Lovelies!
It's gift guide time! over the next two days i'll be giving you all gift ideas for her & him. For today, we'll kick it off with a gift guide for her. So hopefully if you're stuck for ideas, you can go Christmas shopping this weekend if you like any of these gift ideas.
Shopping for women is probably one of the hardest things to do when it comes to gift giving; even I can admit that I am one of the hardest people to buy for in my family! Here are some ideas of what you can pick up for the ladies in your life...
Candles
Candles are a great present to get when we don't know what to get someone, BUT they are actually amazing presents as well. I myself are obsessed with candles and will definitely be giving some as gifts this year! I've recently come across The Candle Library who are based in Aus but can ship internationally, and they have beautiful candles! Another amazing candle brand is Glasshouse (if you want to spend a little more).
Pyjamas
I feel like as you get older, you appreciate gifts like pyjamas a lot more because let's face it, pyjamas are one of those things that we never get around to buying for ourselves but we get pretty excited when we receive some as a gift! There is a massive range of pyjamas, with all different themes and price ranges on Asos.
Perfume
Perfume can be quite the risky path when buying someone a gift (unless you already know what scents they like), because they may not like the scent and won't end up wearing it. I always like to play it safe and only buy perfume when I know the scents that a certain person likes to wear or likes the smell of, either way it's still a great gift idea, especially when they come in convenient little gift sets!
Lifestyle Book
By lifestyle book I mean books like recipe books, wellbeing books, beauty books, fashion books, baking books or travel books. These are great as it makes the gift a little bit more meaningful if a certain person is really into travelling for example, you could get them a book like this one here.
If someone is super into beauty and makeup, maybe get them a beauty guide book similar to this one.
Lipstick set
If you're looking at getting someone makeup, but aren't too sure what type of makeup they are into, trust me when I say you cannot go wrong with buying lipstick. Especially around Christmas time, all the cute little lip sets are released in all major stores such as Mecca and Sephora!
Bag
A cute little bag or purse is also a great little gift you can give someone as usually, it's a gift they will get a lot of use out of thanks to you! There are so many different types of bags to choose from as well: beach bags, clutches, cross body bags, totes and the list goes on. If you know that someone goes to a lot of events, a clutch or small embellished bag may be a good idea. If you know they like to travel a lot, maybe even get them a cute little backpack!
Jewellery holder
If you know someone who owns a lot of jewellery, best believe that they probably need something to store it in because most of the time, little bits and pieces are laying around their room and random shelves. Even if it's something small like a ring holder!
Pretty mug
Even if they don't drink coffee, tea or hot chocolate, a cute mug will never disappoint and they will find a way to use it! Personally, I love mugs. A coffee or tea drinker will really adore and appreciate receiving a new one.
Lush
Lastly, what girl doesn't love a little bit of pampering? Pick something up from Lush either online or in store like a bath bomb, face mask or lip scrub. Even better, choose from many of the gift sets that Lush offers because the packaging is extra cute and you won't even need to worry about wrapping it!
