Hello Lovelies!
Welcome back to my blog for another Sunday post! I'm actually pretty excited about this post because it talks about one of my favourite online platforms - Pinterest. I honestly go to Pinterest for almost EVERYTHING inspo. Whether that's recipes, makeup, outfits, DIY, quotes, fitness motivation.....pretty much everything.
So, in today's post I thought i'd share each of my boards and also how I like to use it to my liking. I'm not going to go into too much detail about ALL my boards, but i'll only go into detail on the ones that I use the most and the ones with the most pins in it. One thing I would like to start doing more is promoting my blogposts on there consistently. I only remember to share a pin of a new post on there once in a while and I find that it does bring in some more blog traffic that week - I just need to remember to do it more often.

My Boards
My Most Used Boards
W O R K O U T
I'm someone who needs to change up my workout routine every few days or at least every week. Otherwise, I find myself not as motivated because I know it'll be the same old routine. Picking a workout set from my workout board seriously helps to get me to the gym! It also gives me workout routines for those days where I just want to fit in a quick home workout.
S N E A K E R S
I love almost all types of shoes - but, sneakers are probably my favourite type for everyday wear. I have a dedicated board just for sneakers and a bunch of photos of ones that I'd like to own or at least own a similar style. Comfort is key!
T R A V E L
I think if you have a Pinterest account, this is a board that you will most definitely have! Looking at travel pictures just inspires me to work harder so that I can one day visit some or all of the places I want to visit. It also gives me ideas on which places to go in certain cities or countries that I probably never would've known about if it weren't for Pinterest haha.
L O O K S
It's always helpful to have a separate makeup look ideas board for when you have no idea how to do your makeup for a certain event, or even if you just want to play around with trying different looks. Sometimes, I also love this board as I have a few palettes with bolder colours and I would have no clue how to use them and make them look good without seeing how others have used them for their makeup looks.
M A K E U P
A beauty blogger must! A makeup products board. In this board, I save all the products that I like and it reminds me to try them out if i'm looking for new makeup to try. I also save photos in here of makeup flatlays/product layouts to give me inspo for my own makeup pictures for my blog and instagram.
W A R M
This board contains all summer & spring fashion or outfit ideas. Sometimes when i'm browsing online, I refer back to this board to see which trends or outfits i'd like to try out and will just search for specific items to buy! I also like to scroll through this board on a nearly everyday basis to try and decide what I want to wear in the warmer months.
C O L D
Since I have a warm board, of course I have a cold board. On the rare occasion that it does get cold where I live, I like to take outfit ideas from this board whilst looking for new clothes. This board is full of winter/autumn fashion and most of the time I will go through this board if I am going somewhere colder so that I have an idea of what outfits to pack.
H E A L T H Y
When it comes to food, I am so incredibly indecisive with my eating choices but I also want to eat healthier. So, I just save meal ideas in this board to keep me on the path of healthy eating when i'm stuck on what to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Plus, food on Pinterest always looks 10x yummier!
C A P T U R E
My capture board is where I go to when i'm looking for some photography inspo for instagram - mainly my personal account more than my blog account. It can be hard to keep an interesting feed with a plain old selfie or candid so if i'm out and about I can bring this board up and get some ideas of how to pose or take a photo. The main point is to take inspo from these pins and not to copy them!
L O C K S
I am also someone who can never workout how to do my hair for events or occasions so this 'locks' board for hair inspo comes in handy for those times. Since last year, i've also been getting my hair done and i've found myself looking for colour inspo as well.
P R E T T Y W O R D S
I have three different 'quote' type of boards but this one is probably the one that I use the most. I use it to look for instagram captions, motivation or even quotes to post on my instagram as filler photos in my feed. This board is more for quotes that have a bit more art and for more shorter words instead of long quotes.
W I S H L I S T (Secret Board)
This last one is a secret board but I only keep it set on secret because I don't think anyone would be interested in it anyways. It's kind of just a mixture of ALL the things that i want (mostly clothing). I actually got the Pinterest pin button extension on my browsers so that when i'm online shopping I can just save the items I want to my Pinterest rather than adding them to the wishlists on each site. It makes it super helpful because all the items are already in one place and I don't have to try and remember which online store was selling a certain product.
As you can see, I have a slight obsession with Pinterest and I would normally spend some of my spare time just scrolling through and pinning things that catch my eye. Let me know if you follow my account and I shall follow yours back! Find my Pinterest here.
